The Dowding System

Last year I got the amazing opportunity to make a documentary for the RAF. I was asked to tell the story of the WAAF and how they managed the Battle of Britain from the ground. This is a complex system by todays standards, even more so in the days without modern technology. It was a pleasure and an honor to meet and interview the women who served from the ground to help us win the amazing battle.

The shoot took us all over the country, from Northumberland to Wales. I was amazed at the amount of information the ladies we interviewed were able to recall.

This was my last film in England before moving countries to America. I finished it literally the day be fore I flew. It was accepted in 7 different museums across the country, Including the Bentley Priory Museum and the Imperial War Museum.
