Art in film.

Since I moved to the States I have been fortunate to meet a lot of new people. All of whom seem to be able to share a similar passion with myself in combining their hobbies with their jobs.

It was a happy accident that my wife and I came across Jason Thomas Clark, who happened to be working in a local art gallery. During our first brief chat i noticed he was working on one of his latest pieces of art, an enormous hand drawn stencil of a ducks head lay on the table in front of him. He creates the stencils from scratch to then spray paint the overall piece with great detail, I was immediately drawn to his work.

Since that day we have met several times and upon each meeting I have been fortunate enough to see more of his work. Seeing the work not only inspired me in a work ethic but also, into a work project. I felt that Jays’ story needed to be shown as to how exactly he gets his pieces of art onto the canvas (or in his case wood). Jay is a very busy artist who is painting huge pieces of art on the side of buildings on a weekly basis. This project is currently on going due to our schedules but we have combined our mediums to be able to bring you a video that I hope will get Jay more exposure with his art. I will be posting photos of the project as we move along on this project. Be sure to keep an eye out for the finished video.
